yup, i'm back with my lyric-titles 8D I've been listening to them a lot, envying my friend who is going to see them in Toronto AND New York next weekend T__T BUT i'm giving her money so she can buy a necklace and possibly their CD for me xD

and first off, i have a question for you all.
Does anyone know how to code a myspace 2.0 layout?!?
i'm going crazy with it! i have my layout all pretty and done but i just NEED to know how to code it...-_-

Second, Brandon Lehti, singer of The Latency had a UStream chat earlier and he answered me 3 times 8D <3
Once, i wrote something like "i'm sad you don't have any dates in Montreal for your tour! =( but i'll try to make it to your ottawa show!" and he said I should definitely make it cuz it's only 2h away haha <3

ooooh man. I so wanna go to that Ottawa show. FABER DRIVE, THE LATENCY and THE NEW CITIES all in one show Dx i can't miss that!
especially that i have a friend who told me she could give me a lift~! DX the only problem is parents =______=
i dunno what to do.

oh but i am getting guestlisted for Lost Deliveries' next show 8D Kev said he'd guestlist me for putting up flyers and stuff haha xD <3

A site where we will put our show reviews and pictures because we find that some of our pictures are just as great as those real photographers photos, if not better.

SO. We need a name.
We came to an agreement...kinda.

Today (as in the 29th of august), one of the many men of my dreams turns 29!

Made with one of the very few decent pics I took of him (this one was at VFest!)

Yup, it's my little celebrity crush i've had since I was...11? xD

this was what he looked like when I started liking him <3 I gotta admit that i found him cuter then, with his blond hair, than now xD I also prefered his blond faux-hawk and emo-cut (ok maybe not the really greasy looking emo-cut). I was happy when he had blond hair again for a few months xD Made him look younger in my opinion =O or maybe it was just cuz i remembered the old times...I still love him though <3 Even though he used to be cuter than he is now hahah

I also gotta admit, I kinda miss the old slightly retarded hyperactive child that was David at the beginning to Simple Plan. And I'm sad I never got to witness it live =( You know, it was back in the day when just liking the band and having their CD was enough for me...>_> it isn't like that anymore xD

But i guess he matured a little. xD A little. haha

I still remember rewinding constantly to that ONE part in Addicted when he would sing alone xD <3

and I remember meeting him for the first time...i waited all day in the snow and he signed into the dark patch of grass on the poster with a freaking BLACK marker =_= SMART one. And how mad i was after since the HUGE security guard forced me to move on before i could do anything about it T_T But it was all ok after since i got to meet him another time after waiting all day in the freezing rain and got a pic with him that time <3 though i still want to smack him the head every time i look at that poster xD

this is a HORRIBLE picture of me. but i was so happy xD

And think of how I always try to conserve my battery at their shows to catch him singing "How long will I be waiting?" or to catch his super long note xD And how at each of SP's concerts, I sometimes just stare at him with a huge grin on my face in a typical anime-fangirl pose x) And how everytime I see them at a show, no matter how long it's been since i listened to their songs, I still know all the lyrics by heart. And once the music starts, it's like i get hit with the realization of how much i love them. I know i always will.

No matter what people say about them <3 I've been a fan for 8 years and even though i sometimes forget how big of a fan i am, I'm still in awe when i see them, I'm still anticipating their next album. I can't wait to see them again. Deep down, no matter what I like that isn't them, no matter how many months i spend not listening to them, when I do remember, it's like "how the hell did i forget i loved them so much?" (and that was my little SP rant xD)

and i WILL one day get one of his picks. I WILL DAMN IT. AND a pic with him (with no table between us)

...i think i'll watch their DVD this weekend...haven't watched it in years Dx

and with that, i leave you with one of my favorite SP songs <3 i'm sad they haven't played it recently =(

i'm back from my month at my grandma's!

and i watched Harry Potter.
the effects were great, the movie was good but....
i reread the book a day before so i noticed every little thing and got disappointed =_=
i also rewatched the first 2 movies and the 5th....and i still know all the lines from the first by heart xD
and reread the 7th...and wondering where they'll cut for the movies .____. wherever they do, it'll be an agonizing wait for the 2nd part hahah

Otakuthon coming up this weekend 8D friday, i'm whipping out my old Nobuta cosplay for the sake of my panel, saturday, i'll either be the Big card from CCS, Reno from FFXII or Rin of Vocaloid....but i dunno yet....BIg is half done, Reno is missing a weapon and Rin is not really anything yet...sunday, i'll be JE fangirl for the sake of my panel hahah

my for-sure schedule:

Friday 3pm-5pm = volunteer
Friday at 6pm = my Jdrama panel 8D

Saturday 9am-12pm = volunteer

Sunday 3pm = my JE panel! 8D

I'm officially going to see The New Cities, Simple Plan, Hedley, Stereos and a bunch of other people i don't care about on June 19th!!! =3

can't wait!! OMGOMGOMG.
now let's all hope that the bands i wanna see aren't going to play at the same time T_T (there are 4 stages -_-)

also, CONFRONT's June issue is out featuring the All-American Rejects and many others =)
they're planning on making a French section to the magazine and I spotted a few mistakes and pointed them out to the editor in chief and she asked if i would like to be junior editor of that section =O it's so cool! *o*

still waiting for confirmation for my interviews with Lost Deliveries and Crisis Jane though >w<
about LD, i chatted a lot with the girl who started up their street team on myspace and she seems to really love them and all. However, she's in Malaysia so i'm thinking of trying to get the guys to say a message to her after their show and i'd film it =P wish me luck ^^

and because i always have something to say about The New Cities, they were awesome on MOD 8D Julien seems to have gotten his voice back <3 and OMG. For those of you who think I was crazy for going to their 3 shows in Montreal, WELL, there was a girl in the MOD audience, IN TORONTO, who was at the same shows i was at too O_O and she's probably going to see them tomorrow and tonight? ._. I WISH I HAD A DRIVER'S LICENSE AND MONEY D8

and for those who use Twitter, i have a question. Since TNC are planning on doing contests and stuff using Twitter, i was wondering...if they ask you to re-tweet a message but they're not following you...they don't see your message right? .__. since you won't appear in their updates...T_T and they're not following me so i guess i can never enter those? LOL First post in...3 weeks that is not centered around The New Cities xD (gonna go buy tickets for the VirginFest tomorrow 8D can't wait! THERE BETTER BE TICKETS LEFT! especially since i got into the other band playing, Stereos. They have a really interesting sound, you should check them out! i've been doing a lot of band-promoting these days haven't i? xD)

I went to karaoke with rik_u today and one of her friends came along.
At some point, we started taking funny pics and he took off his glasses and BAM. KOYAMA.
It depends on the expression he does but rik_u and I both agree that he looks like Koyama. (he even has the right hair cut but shorter =O)
We want him to grow out his hair and cosplay Koyama at the anime convention. Then, i'll make him come to the JE panel 8D

I CAN'T AFFORD TO GET A BAD GRADE D8 MY R SCORE (kinda like the GPA i guess?) IS GONNA DIE IN CHEM IF I DON'T GET A GREAT MARK.
I FEEL LIKE CRYING RIGHT NOW CUZ THIS IS THE FIRST TIME ALL SEMESTER THAT I CAN'T UNDERSTAND CHEM AND I'M REALLY WORRIED ABOUT IT T__________T

came back from my third The New Cities concert this week and I LOVE THEM more after each time <3
I GOT JULIEN'S PICK HANDED TO ME FROM STAGE 8D (i made a little sign and he read it out loud and gave me a pick <3333) AND i got another one SIGNED cuz i couldnt find mine deep down in my pocket x)
and Frank is sooooo sweet <33
and i will properly report this tomorrow when i'm not spazzing so much and making typos at every word (this took longer than usual to write cuz i kept on having to back-space xD)

M+ = MusiquePlus = Quebec equivalent of MTV...kinda

As you know, I started to get obsessed with The New Cities two weeks ago 8D

Yesterday, they did a free show for M+ (show gonna be aired in July...when i'm in California D8) and my dear friend moni45 was nice enough to come with me even though she didn't like them <3 MERCI MONIKAAAA

So since I never managed to get into one of the M+ shows, (i watched Simple Plan through the glass for an hour and a half in -30celsius and snowstorm last year =_=) i wanted to get there early. I got there at around 2-ish (after finishing two exams in less than an hour each xD) and was shocked to see...NO ONE. xD the show was at 5ish i guess they ARE a new band and they posted this up on friday so it didn't really get a lot of publicity...good for me 8D they were doing soundcheck so i saw them through the glass xD

but i HATE being alone..so i was waiting for my friend and if there were people there, i would've talked to them but since there was NO ONE, i went back to the metro to wait for my friend...BAD IDEA. we ended up looking for each other for like 30 minutes =_=

we found each other in the end (good thing cuz i was really panicking xD)

and it was around 3-ish. and there was STILL no one. we went to sit down and she helped me translate and article. at around 4, there were people who got there so we went to wait in line. the girls next to me were intense Simple Plan fans who have seen them SO MANY times ._.

at around 5, they let us in and there were SO LITTLE people. O_O about 30-40 max!! we were in the first-secondish row x) my friend wasn't happy xD they played 5 songs and i found them awesome <333 the guys on the synths were INCREDIBLE O_O they were just out of control! climbing on them, holding them up and all kinds of stunts =O and i figured out my favorites (because i ALWAYS have faves in a band) the bassist, Julien and the drummer, Francis <3 Julien reminded me of David Desrosiers from SP xD

after the show, they stayed to sign stuff and takes pictures 8D they were all pretty nice but I'm just a shy person so i can never really chat =_= (but it has less to do with the fact that they're celebs than with the fact that it just takes me a while to be comfortable around people ._. ARGH) BUT. i'm going to see them tomorrow again (and i'm hoping to find someone to come with me friday xD) so i hope i'll be less shy? *w*

it's really funny how obsessed i got into this band in so little time xD

I have my math and French exams on monday, physics on friday and chem the tuesday after yet...here I am on LJ 8D
I'm also going to see The New Cities Monday and Wednesday <3 And i'm going to karaoke on saturday IF I decide not to go to Toronto with my parents...

I lack motivation to study...took me ALL day to redo all my math problems (which really isn't a lot and should've taken me less time considering I've done them all already...i Just wanted to see if i remember what to do xD)
I haven't started physics...which worries me since it's a summary of ALL we've seen this semester...o_o and i haven't always been the best in physics...IRL friends will know about that xD BUT this time around, i'm doing really good so I guess it's not motivating me cuz i know i don't need a lot to pass and i just can't get my head around the idea that I NEED SUPER HIGH GRADES IN EVERYTHING SO I SHOULD STOP PROCRASTINATING.

speaking of procrastinating, i made myself a little anti-procrastination drawing...how ironic cuz i was obviously procrastinating while doing it...xD

i actually put it as my desktop background to prevent me from going on the internet and whatever but...the computer was logged onto my dad's account all day so that kinda failed...^^'

Haven't started chem either...and that should worry me but last time, because of a math exam the day before the chem exam, I started studying for the chem exam the night before and got 87% ...I know i shouldn't rely on that happening again though since according to the teacher, this exam is on the hardest stuff =_=

ANYWAY, as I said, despite all the studying i KNOW i have, I'm still going to see The New Cities twice next week 8D
funny how obsessed I got with them when I discovered them less than 2 weeks ago xD
But I really do like them and the show on monday is FREE. I couldn't say NO. ^^'
The wednesday show is 10$. 10$!!! it's nothing!! =O

let's ALL hope i do well in my exams kk?? ^^'

yeh...i really wasn't productive study-wise today ._.
i think it's not registering in my head that the end of the term is here and that i should study o_o

but...i really want to do this Pon picspam for his birthday 8D
(that is ending here in an hour and a half xD)

it turns out i had a lot more solo pics of him than i thought so i think this will end up being a 2-part picspam =)
also, i wanted to organize it and follow a timeline but...with 100+ pictures, i figured it was too troublesome xD and chances are, there are going to be reposts....i know i have the same picture twice sometimes..

now, i have something to go with pretty much whatever i wear =O (i have blue, purple and red xD)

and my supper with my childhood friend was great <3
we caught up and also chatted about old memories xD
and i met her adorable dog *o*
i'm so glad i'm still close to her...she pretty much lost contact with our elementary/high school friends and i'm glad it isn't the case for me.
Graduating really showed me who my real friends were. Who i can still talk to and who it's just awkward to be around. Who actually cares about me and who doesn't give a damn.

and i found someone to sneak around the venue with me to spot Metro Station (i hope she doesn't bail on me) AND i found someone to go to The New Cities' concert with me 8D

Yup. Recently, I've been getting into a lot of American/Canadian bands on MySpace xD
Which is quite surprising considering I only liked a select few bands here for the longest time.
No, they are not replacing my dear Johnny's and alice nine., I'm just expanding my horizons? xD And it's cool cuz it's bands i can actually see in concert =O

I guess it all started when i got re-obsessed with Faber Drive (who put up the drummer auditions but i can't bring myself to watch them and vote yet *sigh*) and got added by many bands on MySpace...right now, i'm really into The New Cities =O THANK YOU D-tox for hosting a contest and making me look them up =3

and i'm happy cuz their album release is in Montreal on mai 13th and it's only 10$ O_O YES. I need to find someone to go with though...and it seems like it's hard =_= The only person who always goes with me is possibly going to be busy D8 If worse comes to worse, i go alone? ._. i really wanna goooo T__T
I also got into The Latency after hearing their song Tonight, I love you *o* i hope they come to Montreal one day soon =3
I also really got into Crisis Jane <3 and they're here in a month so i hope to be able to go see them >w<
And i also like Phone Calls from Home...but that was since SP's concert back in august xD

and Ueda's new song is beautiful (as expected <3) the piano beginning is so nice...like Ai no Hana and Love in Snow <3 can't wait to hear a HQ version of it <3 this is making me slightly better =) (even Ryo's song didn't manage O_O i liked his song but i was still depressed over the Faber Drive news...)but I still listened to a couple of songs from K8's album...Glorious is such a cheesy song and they're not bad at singing in English o_o

a quick little rant between my Bday report.

This is a rant about a Canadian band. Yes. I listen to non-Japanese music =O not a lot but I have my...3-4 favorite bands from this continent =) and that i've all seen at least twice except...one band that i still haven't seen.

The current drummer of Faber Drive (one of the only bands that I love and that I can actually SEE live) who is the talented hottie nicknamed Poncho, is supposedly leaving the band D8 he was replacing the old drummer who quit cuz he got married but now, Faber Drive posted a blog on their Myspace searching for a new drummer T_T They haven't said anything else on the matter officially but if they're looking for someone new, chances are, the old one is not going to be there anymore. And my wandering on the internet points to Poncho quitting.

This really sucks cuz I got into the band when Poncho was their drummer and I really hate it when a band changes members...i can just imagine how bad it must be for the fans who have been there since the beginning...since they've changed their guitarist recently too..=_=
They're giving people a chance to send them videos and stuff until summer though...for the new drummer. And i know they're releasing a new single towards the end of april so i'm hoping that means Poncho will be with them till summer and that they will come to Montreal one last time before he leaves? They've also been working on their 2nd album for the past few months so maybe he'll be on there too?? ;_;

I really don't want him to leave. T_T Or, if he does, I hope i get to meet him because from all the videos and Vlogs, he seems SO sweet. I want a picture with him tooooo. D8

But then again, the other side of me wants to smack the side of me who ranted because if he decided to leave, he must have his reasons. As long as he's happy, right? Why should I be mad at him for wanting to do what he wants? Sure, it hurts to know that i won't see him playing anymore at future Faber Drive concerts but if he feels like that isn't his place, why should i be one to judge? On the plus side, I know he wrote a song with a friend of his so maybe he'll be in another band?

I'm doing my birthday party today and i realized i invited WAY too many people o_o
well...in my head, back in high school, i'd invite 20 people and about 10 would show up...sooooo...this time around, i invited 40 expecting 20 people? But then it ended up being 50 and now, 30 people said yes...and my parents think it's 20 8D (and already complained about that being a lot haha let's hope they're out the door before everybody gets here xD)
i'm really excited but i'm wondering how it'll be since this year, i decided to mix pretty much all my friends...i hope it works out =) bad thing is..i kinda have a cold...or maybe a bad case of allergies? i'm not sure... ._.

oh well..i'll just have to wait and see xD

and OMG. KAT-TUN's calendar = PRETTY <3

I'm in Punta Cana and anyone else would be happy but...today is the day i was supposed to go to Ixtapa...x_x
and i keep bothering my parents about that "it would be better there....if we were there, we wouldn't have this problem...blabla..." hahah they're probably getting sick of me xD

i'm so bored here though x_x
the people are really not as friendly and i've just been wandering around alone for a few days...there are people my age but they're all in a pack of like 20 and i don't have the guts to go try and say hi...damn shyness D8

and the weather is always cloudyyyy so it can't even compensate T_T
